I was a victim of an auto accident. How do I seek a claim for time wasted on making claims?

I am more inconvenienced by the time it takes to go to the doctor’s office, getting auto estimates, trips to physical therapy, and looking around for medical supplies for my pain. I could have used this time to be with family, work on my business, or teach adjunct at a local college. How do I quantify this ($) when making a claim? I am on summer break (teacher) so it did not affect wages.

What should I say to the adjuster? The other driver now claims that he never hit my car and that the damage on my car was “already there.” My car sustained $575 damage. His sustained none. Should I tell the adjuster that I am prepared to take the other driver to small claims court?
